You Don’t Need Sight to Have Vision
People hear that I’m legally blind and assume my world is limited.
But the truth is, I see more clearly than most. Not with my eyes—but with my vision.
Sight is what’s in front of you. Vision is what’s beyond it.
I’ve always had to imagine things I couldn’t see.
Plays on the field. Stages I hadn’t stood on yet. Businesses that didn’t exist yet.
That forced me to lead with imagination instead of assumption.
And that skill—the ability to believe in what’s possible has allowed me to succeed.
The most successful people I know aren’t just seeing what is.
They’re creating what could be. That’s vision.
You don’t need perfect conditions. You don’t need permission.
You need a reason. A mission. A purpose that pulls you forward.
People with vision don’t get distracted by obstacles.
They adapt. They adjust. They find a way forward.
Not because it’s easy, but because it’s clear.
Your circumstances might limit what’s easy—but they don’t have to limit what’s possible.
So no, I don’t see the way others do.
But I see enough to know where I’m going.
And I trust that’s more than enough.
